On the plus side, the design of the machine is great, and it’s a lightning-fast Mac. The Verge then passed the machine around among video and podcast producers at Vox Media. The Mac Pro was configured with a 3.2 GHz 16-core Intel Xeon W, 96 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, two Radeon Pro Vega II graphics cards, and the $2000 Afterburner card for video acceleration. The Verge has now conducted a review of a $16,599 model at its parent Vox Media ($18,072.16 after tax).
